SOLO SYNCHRONIZED GROUND ADJUSTABLE PITCH PROPELLER INSTRUCTIONS, Multi-bolt adapters

WARNING: Before assembling and using this propeller, read all assembly, mounting and operating instructions  completely and carefully. Failure to do so could result in damage to this product and serious personal injury.

  1. Remove the 6/32 hubs screws and separate the two half's.
  2. Insert each blade into the hub by putting the pin into the actuator and rotating the blade into the hub.
  3. Replace back half of hub and insert the 6/32 hex screws. Just snug up the screws, the blades should wiggle inside the hub.
  4. Install the adapter onto the engine using the provided screws and tighten. Do not use the pins as leverage as they could become dislodged.
  5. Slide the hub onto the adapter and insert the extension nut. The extension bolt should be able to be threaded onto the adapter by hand. If not, loosen the 6/32 cap screws a little more.
  6. Tighten the extension until it contacts the pitch dial then loosen ½ to 1 turn. The pitch dial should turn free. Do not use plies on the pitch dial, doing so will most likely break it. If you are unable to turn the pitch dial, loosen the extension nut and 6/32 screws a little more.
  7. Using the provided pitch chart, set the desired starting pitch.
  8. Tighten the extension nut First, then the 6/32 screws. Doing this will keep the hub half's in alignment.
  9. Repeat step 8 several times until everything is tight. Always tighten the extension nut first then the cap screws. A good quality box end wrench is recommended.
  • After the first flight check the extension nut and cap screws for tightness. This should be done on a routine basis after several flights.
  • Notice that the hub half's do not come in contact with each other, this is correct. There should be a small gap between the two. Once that gap is closed completely, further use of the propellers blades is not recommended.
  • Never use any Loctite thread locker product on any part of the propeller system or hubs.
  • Never Seize is acceptable on the extension nut and 6/32 cap screws
