SOLO SYNCHRONIZED GROUND ADJUSTABLE PITCH PROPELLER INSTRUCTIONS, Single prop bolt or nut.

WARNING: Before assembling and using this propeller, read all assembly, mounting and operating instructions  completely and carefully. Failure to do so could result in damage to this product and serious personal injury.

  1. Remove the 6/32 hubs screws and separate the two half's.
  2. Insert each blade into the hub by putting the pin into the actuator and rotating the blade into the hub.
  3. Replace back half of hub and insert the 6/32 hex screws. Just snug up the screws. The blades should be free to rotate
  4. If your engine uses only a nut to tighten the prop, the extension nut is made to be shortened if necessary. A Dremel cut off wheel will work great. If supplied a spacer is used on the extension nut for proper distance.
  5. If your engine uses a single bolt to tighten the propeller, a stud and extension nut is provided. The stud and extension may have to be shortened so as not bottom out on each other.
  6. A plastic bushing is also provided that fits into the rear of the hub, This bushing is installed for you.
  7. Once you have determined the proper length of the stud and extension nut slide the hub on and loosely tighten the extension nut till it touches the pitch dial. Then loosen it a ½ to 1 turn. At this point the pitch dial should turn by hand. It the pitch dial does not turn, do not use pliers. It will only break the dial. Loosen the extension nut and cap screws a little more. The blades should wiggle inside the hub.
  8. Using the provided pitch guide, set the pitch.
  9. Once you have set the pitch tighten the extension nut FIRST. This will help keep the two hub half's in better alignment. Now tighten the 6/32 hub screws.
  10. Repeat step 9 several times until everything in tight. Always tighten the extension nut first then the small cap screws. A good quality box end wrench is recommended.
  • After the first flight check the extension nut and cap screws for tightness. This should be done on a routine basis after several flights.
  • Notice that the hub half's do not come in contact with each other, this is correct. There should be a small gap between the two. Once that gap is closed completely, further use of the propellers blades is not recommended.
  • Never use any Loctite thread locker product on any part of the propeller system or hubs.
  • Never Seize is acceptable on the extension nut and 6/32 cap screws
