Solo Propellers

Mounting Hardware

Extension Nut
The Extension Nut is required to mount all propeller assemblies except those using a six bolt mounting system. It is a plated nut and extended hollow shaft, with internal threads that match the crankshaft threads. Use only the Extension Nut supplied to mount your SOLO propeller. Using any other fastener may result in permanent damage to either the engine or the propeller assembly. It may be necessary to shorten the Extension Nut depending on the length of the unthreaded portion of your engines crankshaft.

Note: All mounting hardware is usually sold in kit form, but we do sell replacement parts included in the kits. Contact us for more information.

Flange Bushing
The Flange Bushing is required for all propeller assemblies. It is a plastic bushing which centers the prop assembly on the crankshaft or stud.

Note: All mounting hardware is usually sold in kit form, but we do sell replacement parts included in the kits. Contact us for more information.

Extension Stud
The Extension Stud is only required for engines which normally use a prop bolt to mount the propeller. the stud is threaded at both ends with an unthreaded section at the center and replaces the prop bolt when mounting a SOLO Propeller. Use “Permanent Loc-Tite” when installing stud on engine.

Note: All mounting hardware is usually sold in kit form, but we do sell replacement parts included in the kits. Contact us for more information.

Multi-Bolt Adapter
The MBA kit is only required for engines with a 4 or 6 bolt propeller mounting flange. It is bolted to the engine or reduction drive flange with the hardware supplied. The MBA plate comes with propeller drive pins (3 & 4 Blade) to prevent slippage between the hub & MBA plate. The MBA Extension Bolt then attaches the propeller assembly through the center of the hub.

Note: All mounting hardware is usually sold in kit form, but we do sell replacement parts included in the kits. Contact us for more information.
